Connector makes it easy for other Drupal modules to connect and sign in Drupal users with accounts on other services. Connector takes care of the generic stuff like UI, account creation, storing of metadata like name and avatar etc.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I am closing this issue, since the project does not have any release compatible with supported Drupal versions.
Furthermore, those issues were supposed to track any progress in porting a project from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. Now that Drupal 8 is no longer supported, any progress in keeping a project compatible with supported Drupal versions is tracked on the project issue queue.
