Thank you so much for this great module. It's a huge improvement for usability, and a feature I use on many of my sites :)
I am working on a client project for Backdrop CMS that could really benefit from this module, and I would like to port it over. I wonder you would also be interested in supporting a Backdrop version, either actively (I would be happy to add you as maintainer) or passively (help me with questions as they come up, and collaborate on cross-port for bugfixes and new features)? It's your project and you should have the right-of-first refusal on a Backdrop version, if you are so interested.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I've recently pulled in all the latest commits to the Backdrop version and have functional tests all green. I came to say that I'm grateful to the team here for all the work over the years and I found this issue -- I'll mark it as fixed at this point.
