Virtualization setup for Elasticsearch connector development.

In order to provide quick and easy setup for Elasticsearch connector development lets find the best virtualization solution.

At the moment we have the https://github.com/nodespark/elasticsearch_connector_vagrant repository with vagrant box for Elasticsearch connector development.
We should support both, Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 module versions ready for development.

Another possibile solution might be using Docker with either our own image or a setup of several docker images linked to each other.

Problem/Motivation

We need to boost the module development to keep up with pace the Elasticsearch is evolving. New versions are released in very often and this is putting the Elasticsearch connector module under the risk to become out of date very quick.

Proposed resolution

We need to provide easy way for every one willing to contribute to Elasticsearch Connector to spin up a development environment with setup ready with everything needed to just start working with the module.

The proposed solution is to pickup a virtualization tool around which we can build the needed setup.

Remaining tasks

Select virtualization tool (Vagrant box or Docker containers)
Automate the needed setup so that it is easy to spin up development environment ready for Elasticsearch Connector contribution
Document the steps needed to be followed for having the setup on Windowns, Linux, Mac

I've written some documentation on Set[ting] up a local environment for developing Elasticsearch Connector → , which uses ddev (which is based on Docker).

I'm going to mark this as fixed for now, but please feel free to move it back to "Needs work" if you think I've been too hasty to mark it Fixed!
