With the migration to gitlab we won't be able to have blocks.
It seems like some work was done here that made things better so I will mark this as fixed.
It would be useful to add the following blocks:
My assigned issues: Lists issues that are assigned to a user that is currently logged in. Works as a reminder for each team member
Issues assigned to this user: Lists issues that are assigned to a user. Shown in each user's profile page (block display condition: user/*). Helps coordinators assign issues to members
