Flexslider format support for linked_field

Hi,

I have and image field with 'flexslider' as format and then I have the Linked_field destination - but it does not work.

Switching back to 'image' format works fine.

Can you provide support for flexslider format? - that would make this the best combo for 'responsive' image implementation on our D7 sites.

ps - I even tested 'flexslider' with dynamic link using the code provided here - http://cgit.drupalcode.org/linked_field/tree/linked_field.api.php

obviously modified to match my bundle and view_mode but with no luck.
