Currently if you attempt to create an autocomplete filter for a RedHen contact entity you can't because, even if you have added fields to your view, no fields are available to select for your autocomplete filter configuration, and you therefore are stuck with the 'Field with autocomplete results is not selected' error.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new View, listing entities of type 'redhen contact'.
Continue as normal, adding fields and filters.
Attempt to make a filter autocomplete-powered.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
As Drupal 7.x and also modules 7.x versions "ended their lives", closing the 7.x issues.
