Add separator option for fields.

I am using the Views XML Backend 7.x-1.0-alpha4 and I was happy to see that there was a way of indicating that a field was multi-valued.

However, I was disappointed to see that flagging a field doesn't seem to really do anything. The field is still un-parsed and is displayed that way.

Is there a purpose I am missing of flagging a field as multi-purposed if the field is not going to parse or explode the list into an array within the array?

My ultimate goal is to be able to output the image numbers as images and either select one particular image to display or loop through the output of them all.

Am I missing something? Is there better documentation of this module somewhere?

Is the development version of this module more advanced?

  • Is this issue fixed the development issue?
  • I would like the end user to be able to search or filter the result set. Is that supported in the dev version?
  • I would also like to be able to allow the end user to change the start (offset) and limit numbers in the XML API by passing these parameters to the API from the view.

I am also attaching a sample of my XML API in text format.
