Add hyperlink to wrapper elements

Would be nice if hyperlinks could be used as wrapper too. This will enable users to link complete panes or regions.

The above patches had a bunch of other stuff in them, related to adding the "substitutions" feature.

Here is a nice clean one against dev+10 if anyone still wants/needs it. Just a simple one-liner.
