With D7 approaching EOL soon I've started the process of triaging the D7queue here. Since there hasn't been any movement on this going to close out.

Some of my course units have no quizzes, but the Quiz tab shows up regardless of whether there is a quiz for the unit. I tried to use hook_menu_alter to unset the tab if there are no quizzes, but the tab is created before the content so I can't access the node ID or quiz ID to check it the tab should be created in the first place... Is there any way to check if a quiz exists before displaying the tab?
