Enable the "Entity Module" on update

I've just updated two sites that are running dfp and on both before I could update it said it required the Entity Modified module. So I copied the module across and I could update the dfp module. But then wherever I have a page that is calling a dfp ad, it's a white page with my website logo on top. It's as if the module breaks my whole website!

When I disable the module, I can see those pages on which the ads are again. Then I copied the old dfp module back and enabled it again and the those pages works again and calling ads. So something somewhere is wrong with the latest update?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
