Notification setting for notifying once a day or once a week

Hi,

I have latest version of organic groups, message, etc. The message notifications module works fine with og flags. I used the og_notifications module which had the notification setting for user to send notification once a day and once a week. Would like to know whether we plan to have this feature in this module. Was thinking of implementing this feature but not sure what's the best way to go
