Please could we have some hooks for creating custom digests?
I need digests that aggregate some types of messages and display different messages differently. Currently I've had to hack the notifier abstract.inc public format function to divert to a custom formatter. It would be much better to have some system of hooks or something to be able to specify custom formatters.
