Digest Introduction + Footer

Hi,

I don't think it is currently possible to wrap the digest into an introductory text and/or footer. As far as I can tell the module simply goes through the list of digest items and displays fields from the message according to view mode, list item by item.

Would this be something that could be added, similarly to views headers/footers? The use case is that digest emails often include an introduction that explains that it is a weekly/daily digest from site x or y, i.e. the text should be customizable by notification plugin. In the footer it would make sense to include information about how to unsubscribe or similar.

Ideally, we could incorporate the name of the subscriber as well in the introduction.

Sample digest:

Dear [name of recipient],

[intro-global] This email includes all weekly activity on the website x.

[list-personalized] Activity 1
[list-personalized] Activity 2

If you wish to change your subscription frequency or unsubscribe from the digest, please visit ...
