Change "cash" to "edit" in the local tasks of a payment

I received cheque with number 12345, and added it as a payment to an order, I would like to add "12345" as a remote id to my payment at admin/commerce/orders/1/payment or admin/commerce/orders/1/payment/1/view, but I'm not seeing an "Edit" option.

I am expecting to see an "Edit" local task or tab which leads to a form where I can then add the cheque number and perhaps other fields.
