Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in _fpa_wrapper()

Before anything else, let me say thank you for this module. Now back to the issue.

I have a vanilla Drupal 7 install (latest version) and I created a super basic custom theme and when I save permissions on the site I keep getting this error:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in _fpa_wrapper() (line 522 of /home/ACCOUNT/public_html/SITE.COM/sites/all/modules/contrib/fpa/fpa.theme.inc).

What am I missing?
