In the title property of the anchor tags for the Follow links/icons, if there is HTML included in the 'site_name' global variable then it's included as escaped HTML markup in the title.
Patch rolled for revision 562227a760c8d8ff1bc6ccd579f8c26f00fbf164 (that being the version I'm using in my project), and I'll include that shortly, but this fix is very simple and can easily be re-rolled for the 2.x release.
