Media: Spotify?

Hi, are there any plans to support integration with the Media module? Basically, I'm looking for the Spotify version of the Media: SoundCloud module and thought you guys might be able to do this maybe as a spinoff of this module?

In case you're not aware, the Media module is already able to replace almost all media related modules into just one. So in the past, people would have different fields for uploading audio, images & video content. Then if you wanted to also embed them from third party websites, you had to use the Embedded Media Field module. But with the Media module, one field handles ALL of these at once. Here is an example from my website:

So right now you can see a SoundCloud file & a couple of images in one field, which I think is so simple and yet absolutely brilliant. But I can easily add any type of media that's already supported as you can see from the attachment (the screenshot was taken from the homepage of the Embedded Media Field module, but those same modules all support the Media module as well). I'm wondering if you can add Spotify to this list? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
