Occasionally we need to import a large number of redirects and in the past the import has resulted in errors due to existing redirects. I would like to add a function to the module which allows users to first validate the input file for errors before import - would you be willing to included this additional feature if I submitted a patch?

Seems validation is still needed in latest version and it can result in problems
One can import a redirect from /page to /page which can result in infinite loop
Adding this link manually does understand the problem and does not allow it but when importing the validation does not happen
