Using sites 7.x-2.x

I'm having an issue on my localhost within my admin/content view with nodes associated with a site I created. The node (I'm using a path modifier) does not maintain PURL's behavior. It drops the PURL prefix and takes me to the page I cannot access (in this case the "You are not authorized to access this page error" is correct, because I can't reach the intended destination).

For example, I have a site called mysite1. In the admin/content view if node/23 (with the title Page 23) is associated with mysite1, when I click on the title of the page, it takes me to www.example.com/node/23 (instead of www.example.com/mysite1/node/23) and I get the following message on that page

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in sites_sites_access() (line 332 of C:\...\sites\all\modules\sites\sites.module).

When I edit that page, the edit page will load, but I get the same error message.

I tried applying all the patches in the issues section, but I noticed the code changed and the pages won't apply. Am I skipping a step to make this work? I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

As this module has not been maintained for some time, I am closing this ticket as “outdated”. A new version of sites which is architecturally and technically unrelated to the Drupal 6 and Drupa 7 versions will be published here soon.
    Thank you for your contribution.
