Save Node Before sumit add/edit

Hello,
I would like to improve the module entityconnect .

The node should be back before étider or add one entity.

So I tried to add node_form_submit_build_node function, in the first lines of entityconnect_add_edit_button_submit function.

But I get the following error:

Should be done differently?.
