Hi,
Drupal is famous with its flexibilities with CCK, Views & Panels. However, core Menu module is still rather primitive, why isn't some basic access control for menu item like https://drupal.org/project/menu_per_role made into core ? In Joomla , we can easily hide & limit the access to menu items in core. The menu_per_role module is also less maintained now. Hopefully the Menu Items will have some basic access control like the block module in core otherwise this might affect the adoption of the latest release of drupal 8 in the coming year. Thanks
