Installing Drupal 8 on a 384M Vagrant Debian Squeeze

Hi,

I tried installing Drupal 8 alpha 3 on a Debian Squeeze VM today, but miserably failed. The VM ran out of memory on step 36 or 39 (if I remember correctly), and I had to restart it.

After restarting the VM, I went back to the install page, and it completed until 38 out of 39 steps, but hangs there forever. I killed the apache2 service, which makes the polling loop on the installer page fail as well, and show a link to an "show error page". When I clicked that however, the installer just continued. I filled out fields like sitename and siteadmin, but when I clicked contineu I was redirected to http://1.2.3.4/user/1, but it threw a "The requested URL /user/1 was not found on this server.".

I attached all the apache logs, syslog and iterm logs. Let me know if you need more.

In conclusion, I understand the process failed cos 384M is not a lot. Then again, I'd like the installer to check for it, just like it checks php.ini for max_mem settings. The whole VM was a clean vagrant up, followed by an aptitude install apache2 mysql-server php5 php5-gd php5-mysql.
