#1250800: Language domain should work regardless of ports or protocols → patch in #32
Description for the language domain changed from:
"For the default language, this value may be left blank."
to
"Leave blank for the default language."
As far as I can see only because it is shorter. Problem is that knowing the domain name even for the default language is pretty useful, for example for making a canonical url tag. Especially useful with multiple domains pointing to the same drupal install or on web servers with unlimited subdomains. Problems could be solved with a variable in another place, but that would be messy.
Any good reasons why the language domain should be left blank for the default language? Or better go back to the old description?

Looks like it is more or less mandatory now to fill a domain name for language selection. So this issue can be closed.
