Drupal 7 hits its EOL today, hopefully you've been able to resolve the problem.
On a clean, 7.22 drupal installation I download and enable the following modules: pathauto, token, features, link, entity, libraries, module_fiter, strongarm, views, views_slideshow and views_ui.
then, the moment I download field_redirection 2.5 (without enabling it), the admin layer breaks, Which means I can't access e.g. admin/modules and basically the whole site. When I delete the module, everything starts working again. When I download it again, then I can't access anything again. Clearing caches didn't help.
I don't have time to test more :)
