TEXT BOX VALUE RETERIVAL

I have created profile which has many fields in user registration. I fetched the username using $user->name in the hook block.

Now i need to fetch the custom Text Box Value(Register Number - Label Name) it is stored in database as field_registernumber_value;

Now i can fetch the value from DB to Hook menu. Please help me in this regard
