There are several PHP libraries that implement oEmbed providers:
- https://github.com/felixgirault/essence
- http://code.google.com/p/php-oembed/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk
- http://pear.php.net/package/Services_oEmbed
Maybe we should integrate with this libraries instead of implementing our own providers. Essence seems to be the most active.
