Closing old issues as we are now on modern Drupal and the site has changed since the issues were created. Re-open/comment if needed.
For sites that have many different projects, it would be very helpful if the "N functions that call this" pages had the option to either stick within a particular project/branch (as they do now), or to look across all of the "preferred" branches within a given core compatibility.
In order to do this, we would need to first convert these to use Views (spun off from #1788220-15: Convert existing listing pages to use Views wherever possible → and see comment 15 for notes on how it should be done).
Then we'd need to build separate views that would do the across-all searches.
This is a high priority for being able to build a site with a large fraction of or all of contrib on it.
