A taxonomy field required disappears in a creation form

I installed the module, setting it as a widget for a taxonomy field (required) in a creation form.
It often happens that the field disappears from the form (and the form is validated even though the field is required).
Clearing the cache the field is visible again.
Any idea about the problem?
