I have a need for about 5 sites with this module, but one of which should be the main site. Though there is no way to set a "default site" or anything so I have to create a new site with a path, but then drupal won't recognize it as the main site so I keep needing to change the URL every time I hit home. I tried updating the default Site Information to say that the default frontpage has changed but that doesn't work.
Also, the path and node you setup for each site create duplicate areas. You need a node for the start page, and you need a path, but if you go to the node/id it goes somewhere different. confusing. I thought maybe I would setup a redirect to change the node/id but that causes a loop. The main reason is I need to add these sites to a menu, and the drupal menus only except node/id's (at least those NOT in the main menu) so it doesn't work properly and direct you to the new site.

As this module has not been maintained for some time, I am closing this ticket as “outdated”. A new version of sites which is architecturally and technically unrelated to the Drupal 6 and Drupa 7 versions will be published here soon.
