Hi all, I am currently using the field permissions to allow several user roles to edit a node. Within the node, I have a table for a specific task and having each individual "sign off" with their username. It looks something like:
Task l Username l Username
The Task is a field that shouldn't be edited by anyone except the author. What I found is that when the permissions were set, other users who try to view this table does not see the "Task" column. They can see it on the node view page, but not the edit screen.
Is there someway I can "freeze" or "lock" the field so it appears, but cannot be edited?
