Multiple protocols in field break the link

Hello everyone !
I hope someone can point me to the right direction because I'm stuck and can't figure how to solve my problem...

So the problem :
I need to passed some url to a reverse proxy (throught a CAS server, that I didn't manage) to check if the current user is logged in and can go to the ressource. So, the URL is external.

eg http://mycasserver?url=http://myressource

When I use the link module (and try all the options) to display this link it is always rewrited this way :
http://mycasserver?url=http%3A//myressource with "%3A" and not ":" and break the link.

I tried the Url field module for the feature of external links only but I've got the same problem...

Did I miss something or is this really a bug (I try the last dev version too)?

I'll close this issue due to inactivity for 12 years and upcoming EOL of Drupal 7 in January 2025 → . While the project version for Drupal 7 will keep providing support for security issues and website breaking bug fixes for Drupal 7, we should try to minimize the open issues for Drupal 7 in the queue as much as possible. Thanks for the report and all the efforts in here. Feel free to re-open if you can provide a fix or found an additional related problem which increases the issue priority to "Critical" here.
