Use the view in panels?

I am using a field collection for profile2. I've cloned the default view, added my fields, and created a block. I've added the view and block info into the field display. The block shows on the user page and works like a charm. However, I want to override the default user page with page manager and bring the block in through a panel so I can position things where I want them. When I add the block to the page in a panel, no data shows up. How do I get the view to show in a panel? Is there an argument I need to pass or something?
