Problems with Deviantart provider

I'm setting up a new Drupal 7 site, and have installed the media module and Oembed with Media: oEmbed and oEmbed Field. I created a content type with an Oembed media field. When I "Add content" and try to add a Deviantart link in the Oembed field, it acts like the object was added and available, but nothing is displayed. I tried adding a Flickr and YouTube object, and those worked fine.

I'm using the http://fav.me/d4p6yn1 link format for Deviantart. I looked at Deviantart under providers, it lists http://fav.me/* as one of the schemes. I tried using the Oembed "Test" tab to enter the http://fav.me/d4p6yn1 URL, and it does return information, and as far as I can tell, all the information is there, but I don't know enough about the Oembed standard to know if what I'm looking at is correct.

One thing I did notice is if I go to Adminstration -> Content -> Media, in the media list it shows the Flickr object I added as image/oembed but the Deviantart object is html/oembed. I suspect that may be the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Is it an issue with the data coming from Deviantart? Is anyone using Deviantart successfully with Oembed?

Deviantart is an important provider for this community, so I really need to get this working.
