Aggregator feed blocks currently just show the feed title and a list of items in the feed.
However, the aggregator module collects a feed description when available (and displays it on the feed's page). I think there are some cases where it would provide extra context to show that description in the block also. At least it should be an option.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I'm closing this in favor of 📌 Convert the feed block into a view Postponed . Adding the feed description to a view header is relatively easy to accomplish. I did it starting from scratch in just a few minutes. I think it's more productive to spend time working on the issue of making the blocks into views instead.
