This is my first documentation page for Drupal.org. I hope I've not made too many mistakes. I'm flagging it up here, so others can check if it is a useful page, and if I've put it in the right place.
The page was originally written for my blog, but I've had a change of heart and think I'd prefer to contribute stuff like this directly to Drupal.org wherever appropriate. I hope it is appropriate.
