Comment Driven module uses the FAPI #access property to control modifications to nodes through additional fields added to the node's comment form.
However, this causes the $node->og_groups array to be formatted differently, with the values set to 1 if the node belongs to the group rather than the nid of the group. When the resulting array is saved the stored groups for the node are lost, and only an nid/gid of 1 is stored in the database.
