Timeslot is a custom field type. It is designed to store the date, the start time and the duration of single continuous events lasting less than one day. It outputs the date, the start time and the end time calculated from the duration input. The duration is in hours and is expressed as a decimal in increments of 0.25.

Features

You can store the date, the start time and the duration of each appointment. The duration is expressed as a decimal value selectable in increments of 0.25 and ranging from a minimum of e.g. 0.25 hours to a maximum of e.g. 6 hours. These parameters are adjustable. The field is designed to capture timeslots for events that will last less than a day. For example, a French lesson or a dental appointment.

Post-Installation

You can add a field and in the field type list you will find 'Timeslot' listed. When you select it you can adjust the datetime settings and you can also alter the #step, #min and #max values for the duration textbox.

Additional Requirements

The core field module and the datetime modules need to be enabled.
