The module provides a field type to attach any Views View display with, configurable on per-entity level, default values for exposed filters and sorting. The placement of the View in the content can be reordered on the "Field Display" administration page for the entity.

Use case

As a website editor on a node view page I want to see a filtered and sorted list of related items. I want to be able to configure for this particular node any set of custom data passed to a View as default values for its exposed filters. Another node can have different set of custom data.

Tutorials

Go to "Admin -> Modules" and enable module Field Embed Views
Then go to "Admin -> Structure-> Views -> Add new view" to define new view or use already create view. Configure exposed filters that will be embed in entity form
Add a field embed views to any entity, e.g. to a node. For that use the the usual "Manage fields" interface provided by the "field ui" module of Drupal, "Admin -> Structure-> Content types -> Article -> Manage fields". In field instance settings select View and Display.
