It seems like the Link module only has some minor issues now. I've done fairly extensive testing and haven't really run into anything. Pending the addition of these #956182: Update form theme function for D7 → #947050: Link with query throws error → patches I think we should really push for an alpha release of the D7 module. Drupal 7 just hit rc1 so we should really start thinking about it.
