After a conversation with out new banner salesman we have concluded that a must have feature for us is the ability to e.g. only show an ad 4 times a day for a specific anonymous user. A hash key would be created for each user based on his IP, browser version, language, etc. Based on this hash key each ad could be shown only the wanted amount of times pr day.
Is this a feature that could fit into the "ad" module? If it is I would be willing to code this feature and will have time allotted at work to do it sometimes in June. I could make some sort of RFC for its functionality before beginning.
