This is not a bug per se. But I labeled it as a bug because it is closer to a bug than a feature request. Call it a seriously critical oversight.
When an ad node is viewed by an anonymous user, the ad's status, statistics, etc are displayed. There are no permissions to turn this off.
The work around appears to be to enable Ad owners, but it shouldn't be required to fix the issue.
