view counter and click question

Hi, I have things working and a few test ads setup. I have the following questions:

1. I've read that html ads are not counted, is this still the case?
2. I am blind and am us9ing a screen reader and below each ad I have made Ihear the words "view counter" I'm told this can not be seen on the screen, I'm wondering why and if there is a way to get rid of it. For more info on what a screen reader is as well as a demo see http://gwmicro.com
3. I created a text ad like:
link http://example.com/go/
header testbody this is a test
When I click on it I get redirected to a strange url that results in a page not found. the html ones i made work just fine.
