This module doesn't use a stored managed file so this would be major change in functionality, and in D7 not compatible with #1230956: Support for Exportables (Features) → , although neither of these will most likely be implemented before D7 EOL.
It would also not be compatible with ConfigEntity and exportable config, a la ✨ Provide exportable configuration Active , as the filename and content need to be part of the configuration.
