Hide certain map features with a macro

I have my main maps setup to display different features: map types (map, satellite, etc.), a scale/ruler, etc.
I'm now setting up a new map in a view and providing it with a macro to change its size. Because of it's new, smaller size, I'd like to hide the map type chooser, scale, etc.
Is this possible with a macro? I read GMAP-MACRO-DICTIONARY.txt but it didn't mention those things...
