Filter on "Until" Date in Views

There is one more difficulty I have in using the Repeat Options Widget with Views.

What I am actually trying to do is get hold of the first date and the last date of a series of repeated dates, when some but not all of them are in the past. (If all are in the past I wish to ignore completely.)

Currently I can filter on the (start)date being >= now, but this excludes the iteration containing the first date if it has already past. I would like to filter on the "Until" date (e.g. Until >= now) so that it picks up all repetitions of an item which is still current, including the first one.

As a further thought, if one could also filter on Delta=0 then this would seem to solve (or give a workround for) the problem of failing to Group Multiple Values properly as described in http://drupal.org/node/355571.
