Taxonomy Manager search does not open term edit form

Created on 13 January 2026, 9 days ago

Problem/Motivation

When using the Taxonomy Manager search in Drupal 11, if the searched term is not present
on the currently visible page, selecting the term from the search results does not open
its edit form. The edit form only opens correctly when the term is already visible on the current page.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a taxonomy vocabulary with enough terms to enable pagination.
  2. Open Taxonomy Manager for the vocabulary.
  3. Use the search field to search for a term that is not present on the currently visible page.
  4. Click/select the term from the search results.

Proposed resolution

Ensure that when a taxonomy term is selected from the Taxonomy Manager search results,
the correct page containing the term is loaded (if necessary) and the term edit form is opened,
even when the term is not present on the currently visible page.
