The 'Automatically populate link text from entity label' feature can't be disabled.

Problem/motivation

I have updated the linkit module to 7.0.9 from 7.0.7, and I've noticed a possible defect with the autocomplete functionality.

When using a link field (while using the linkit widget), when selecting a node for the URL field, the title field next to it would never auto populate with the node title. There is a check-box on the entity form display page for 'Automatically populate link text from entity label' which I have unchecked. So this makes sense.

However, I've noticed on 7.0.9, the title field now auto populates with the node title (this actually happens on 7.0.8 as well).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a simplytest.me site with the `linkit` module enabled (using 7.0.8 or later). I'm using Drupal 10.5.3.
  2. Create a link field on the page content type. All the defaults are fine.
  3. For the entity form display on the page content type, use the linkit widget instead of the link widget for this new link field. Make sure the 'Automatically populate link text from entity label' check-box is unchecked.
  4. Create an article and save.
  5. Create a page, and for the link field, search for the article you just created.
  6. When it is selected, the 'title' field automatically populates with the node title.

If you try the steps above on 7.0.7, you will notice the title field will not automatically populate.

It seems that after 7.0.8, the title will automatically populate, even if the 'Automatically populate link text from entity label' check-box is unchecked.

Unless I'm missing something here, this appears to be a bug.
