After I install and enable the media_alias_display module, when I visit /admin/content/media and try to edit a media item I am instead taken to the page showing the media item and not the media edit form.
After I install and enable the media_alias_display module, when I visit /admin/content/media and try to edit a media item I am instead taken to the page showing the media item and not the media edit form.
Is there any documentation/demo of how this is supposed to work? Why can I no longer edit an existing media item at /admin/content/media?
In the module description it says to append ?edit-media to the URL to get to the edit form (which seems very clunky) but that doesn't work either, I just get redirected to the media file (even though the url is /media/123/edit.
So the module seems to be hijacking the /edit part of the url and redirecting to the actual media file instead of allowing it to be edited?
Some clearer documentation would be greatly appreciated, not only for the Media Alias Display module but also the included Media Alias Display Field Override module (i.e., why would you need this module and how do you use it?).
Thanks!
