Error with WSOD when accessing module settings in config section

Problem/Motivation

I get an error everytime i try to access the config page and i can nolonger see the module's options on the individual content types.
ypeError: Drupal\Component\Utility\Html::escape(): Argument #1 ($text) must be of type string, null given, called in web/core/lib/Drupal/Component/Render/FormattableMarkup.php on line 238 in Drupal\Component\Utility\Html::escape() (line 433 of /web/core/lib/Drupal/Component/Utility/Html.php).

Steps to reproduce

Proposed resolution

I uninstalled the module and later re-installed on and the error was gone . The only catch is, i can nolonger configure the module settings under content types and individual notes. The settings are gone.
