Make markup formatting and connecting words overridable without having to do a new method

Problem/Motivation

If a person likes the information given by a method but wants to change a minor thing about the introducing text or the bold or italics or the list, there is no way to do that without copying or awkwardly extending the method.

Proposed resolution

Use Single Directory Components rather than building a $build array.
